A structure is how a supernatural ability is put together from a combination of FX, extras, flaws, and fixed modifiers. The normal FX structure described in the Introduction is:

FX cost = (components + extras – flaws) x rank + fixed modifiers

The minimum FX cost for this and all other structures is 1 character point (although in some cases, 1 character point may provide more than one FX rank, see Fractional FX Costs.)
